Dongtan Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (Dongtan Leaf Spring), a National High-Tech Enterprise, has been pioneering leaf spring technology in China’s automotive sector for nearly four decades. We specialize in the R&D, manufacturing and sales of precision leaf spring systems.
1984
Our history dates back to 1984, originating from the leaf spring production line invested in and built by Yangzi Agricultural Machinery Repair Factory, which led to the establishment of Zhongxiang Leaf Spring Factory.
1988
Commenced supply partnership with Dongfeng Motor Corporation.
1993
We formed a joint venture with Dongfeng Motor Corporation, establishing Dongfeng Zhongxiang Automotive Spring Co., Ltd. This venture achieved synchronous design, construction, production launch, and supply alignment with Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. (DFAC).
1998
DT have served as a certified Tier 1 supplier for major OEMs including Ford, JMC, and JAC.
2004
Certified as Tier 1 supplier for Isuzu, Nissan, Iveco, Gloden Dragon and other leading OEMs.
2017
DT completed its privatization restructuring and was officially renamed Zhongxiang Dongtan Auto Parts Co., Ltd
2023
Invested a new plant in the Zhongxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The plant features modern workshops, industry-leading production equipment, and highly automated production lines.
Now
A certified Tier-1 supplier to 15+ major OEMs, the market share of our equipped light truck, light passenger vehicle, and pickup truck in industry was 38%, 35%, and 30% respectively in China.
